Pair of vintage Spanish chairs with newly hand-sewn vachetta leather seats- by Børge Mogensen, Denmark, Fredericia Stolefabrik, labelled, midcentury.
A pair of labelled Børge Mogensen 's iconic armchairs in solid waxed oak and with natural brown handpicked vachetta leather, beautifully hand-sewn by a local artisan. The detailing is phenomenal with perfect stitching and trimmed edges. We have used leather lotion to impregnate the leather. These pieces will last another 50 years easily and you can be the first person to leave some marks of life. The oak wood we left untouched with its original patina. Designed in 1958 and produced in the 1960s by Fredericia Stolefabrik, Denmark. The original label we kept from the original leather upholstery.
Measures: 32.25" wide x 22" deep x 26.75" high, seat height 13.5”.
