Oak & Creme Bouclé Armchairs, 1950
Guillerme Chambron Style
Set of 2 French oak armchairs, France 1950.
Great comfort set of 2 Oak arm-chairs with newly upholstered fine wool creme Bouclé fabric by Nobilis, France. They resemble the Guillerme & Chambron T Chair, the sides let one think of Jeannerets Kangaroo chairs. However, found in France and restored in our workshop they rae certainly one-of-a-kind pieces. The construction is a key element to the chairs as they are held together by wooden bolts and are therefore easily to discard. Sturdy and comfortable they remain to being tested in front of a fireplace yet. Rustic and yet cleverly constructed one can imagine them in many settings that look for authenticity.
