Measuring 23.6" in diameter, this mid-century vinyl shade flush mount is certainly inspired by the famous Paavo Tynell flush mount model 1076/8022. It showcases the same materials, vinyl with brass accents, bringing a wonderful presence to any room with its size and beautiful soft lighting qualities. The dimensions are 26.6" x 10.2". Great vintage condition, minor patina consistent with age and use. The rims are in good condition.

Paavo Tynell (1890-1973) was one of the most important names in Finnish lighting design, and his work has had a significant impact on modern lighting design also on an international level. Tynells signature blend of playful Mid-Century design and classical influences and materials were the core of his success. He was a prolific designer, who's lights can still be found in many buildings throughout Finland.
