Large model 551 chandelier by Oscar Torlasco for Lumi. Enameled metal, brass with the original canopy. Original chandelier, refurbished at one point and newly rewired. It's deliberate design is typical for the 1950-1960 with the subject of atomic or sputnik aesthetics. It shines bright with 20 bulbs in total and is a great as a center-piece in a larger room (foyer, bed-room) It takes 20x e14 25W Edison bulbs; Led's are working also. The condition is good to very good with hardly any wear. Provenance: the lamp derives from a private collection in Rome
