Very desirable side table by Karl Springer, 1970 in very good condition. This cantilever table consists of a high polished metal sculptural base which also adds enough weight to hold the thick glass top, it's executed in a high polished gunmetal finish. Extremely well built and great scale. All parts seem to be almost comically oversized which adds to the attraction this table holds for any recipient and user. Very stylish piece, with a very thick one inch blue-ish glass top. It's in great condition with no flaws (such as chips or deep scratches). This table would work well between some organic sofas by Vladimir Kagan, or among works from other designers such as Tommi Parzinger, Edward Wormley, Etc. Dimensions are 16,53" x 24,8" x 18,11", weight approx. 50kg
