Flame Chair by Dante LaTorre, 1960
Rosewood White Bouclé, Italy
Midcentury Italian Flame chair, newly upholstered, 1960s. Sculptural Pozzi & Verga model ‘2/R’ or ''Flame'' chairs, designed by Dante LaTorre. The chair is made of bent, laminated rosewood on a black ash frame. They have fixed cushions with a new French white Bouclé wool upholstery. The rosewood has a unique shape and has a bleached finish. A very rare and beautiful occasion. The chair is in good vintage condition, the plywood veneer bent seat has been cleaned and newly oiled, the new upholstery is from French Bouclé. Only some minor surface wear here and there commensurate with age.
