Love is coming in pairs?
We are raised in groups and rise as an individual, the motif of the pair is what makes us whole and closes at least one circle in life. It is one of the most soothing and repeating patterns in Interior design, and contrary to its comforting strength in symmetrical alignments and figurations it remains a myth. We love the doublet, a pair of vases, the two armchairs in front of the fire-place so much that single pieces are often referred to as orphans.
“Love is the name for our pursuit of wholeness.”
