Wrought Iron Table Base
Magnificent French gilt iron coffee table with mirrored top by René Drouet (1899-1993)
This round forged gilded iron coffee table was designed by René Drouet the 1940s and probably executed in the 1950's. The base is made of forged iron with its original dark red and gilded gold patina which has faded during the last couple of decades. The original top in silvered ‘mirrored’ glass and shows some spots due to age and natural wear. This table is in very good original condition. Dimensions are 31.9" in diameter and 19.3" height.
