Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce Glass Pendants, 1960
Seguso Bubble Glass
1960s Gino Sarfatti metal and Seguso glass pendants for Arteluce.
This version measures 4.72" in diameter and is priced as a pair. This original pair has been executed in hand blown bubbled Seguso glass and painted metal. The bulb dips into the glass, hiding in a cavity; it's a simple yet beautiful design by Gino Sarfatti, an incredibly refined example of mastery and imagination. One bulb e14 with 40-60W. Newly rewired, very good condition with light wear to the metal parts. We recommend Led's due to lesser het-emission and more actual power. The pendants measure: 4.72"x 8.84" - total drop as pictured is 41"; we can extend cable length if required. Arteluce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Celebrated in his time and beyond as an undisputed master, Gino Sarfatti's designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.
