Rare, documented pair of glass lanterns by Fontana Arte, circa 1940
Sold as a pair.
Stunning large satin glass lanterns with etched rhombus pattern and fine brass work. These handmade piece ares lovely to see in person, lit or unlit. It mainly consists of a handblown lantern in a brass frame. The flat bottom glass part is again safeguarded with a flat thick glass disk. All elements are in very good condition. The brass comes in its original dark and even patina. It has got 2 sockets for e26/27 bulbs, 110/220V, max wattage 60W per bulb, Led's are possible and recommended due to heat exposure of the glass. The height can be customized. We have rewired the main cable.
Measurements: 12.6" x 15.35" (height) 38.58" total drop.
