Max Ingrand Floor Lamp, 1957
Mod. 1819
Rare floor light Mod. 1819, Max Ingrand, Milano circa 1957-1960
Elegant iconic floor lamp that is rarely seen in this condition. Max Ingrand, the designer, who was the artistic director at Fontana arte between 1954-1964 was the man of the impossible details in glass design and pure elegance. It's another example of Ingrand's way of merging brass and glass and make it inseparable though his formal speech, showing his true love for material and detail. We had it gently cleaned and left the original patina. It is in good original condition. It shows a fissure at the bottom of the stem and a chip at the top rim. One bulb with a max of 100W (e27) Led's recommended due to heat emission of standard bulbs.
Dimensions are 12.7“ x 9" x 71“ (height)
