Unusual chest of drawers by George Nelson for Herman Miller, mid century Elegant chest designed by George Nelson and in very good original vintage condition. It's a rare piece, labelled Hermann Miller collection, Design Eames, which makes it a very early piece also. However the base is certainly by George Miller, the chest seems to be odd and this combination with the drawer configuration has not been confirmed as being from the official series of miniature chests by Nelson that came later. The small handles to pull the drawers and the drawers themselves are to be found with his later miniature chests.
