Erling Viksjø coffee table, 'Conglo', for A/S Conglo, Norway, 1960s-70s The Conglo concrete sofa table showcases a mesmerizing conglomerate of inlaid variations of Norwegian stones that have been polished to perfection in Terrazzo technique. It's a rare find in a desirable size with 43x43". A very well balanced and harmonic large coffee table that is in very good condition. The heavy table top is weighs around 50-60kg and sits on a floating wooden frame. Handcrafted and in very good condition with hardly any signs of use and time, some minor scratches are present which are hardly noticeable, otherwise no major damages. The piece will be crated for transport.

Erling Viksjø (1910-1971) was a renowned Norwegian architect. Viksjø was an early exponent of architectural modernism in Norway known for his use of textured concrete as a building material in a number of his designs and had a patent on what was called 'nature-concrete'.
