Guy Lefevre for Maison Jansen Cabinet, 1970
Black Polished Lacquer
Rare vintage Guy Lefevre for Maison Jansen cabinet, bar made in the 1970s.
Dimensions are 40.25" x 34.25" x 18.75". A quite versatile and luxurious cabinet, that might serve as a bar or stereo-cabinet also. Glossy black lacquer with bright brass asian inspired polished handles end feet. Both doors are opening 270 degrees, the opening top has a clever mechanism to hold and fold. It's in original and brillant condition, with no major damages, some scattered light scratches. Nothing distracting from the overall very good condition and vintage flair of this scarce find. This piece represents a period during which Maison Jansen was shifting under Lefevres design leadership to a much more modern/ contemporary aesthetic circa 1970.
