Rare large organic chest of drawers in brilliant condition with 6 drawers in bamboo and herringbone cane. A fabulous organic chest from a coveted low production series by Vivai del Sud, Italy, circa 1975. Stout heavy wooden case construction veneered in herringbone cane. Beautiful bamboo accents add dramatic detail. Fabulous sleek solid brass hardware mark the drawers. The chest has been cleaned and the handles polished and treated against tarnishing. All cane veneer is intact and complete. The condition is very good with no major damages, some scattered light scratches. Nothing to distract from the overall very good condition and vintage flair of this scarce find. Dimensions are 55.9" x 22" x 29.13" (height).
