Rare Stilnovo pendant light (marked) Italy, 1950; Applied manufacturer's label to inner shade.
Early vintage original light. Produced by the famous manufacturer Stilnovo in the 1950's this light shows all aspects comprehended within the concept of Stilnovo's founder Bruno Gatta. The ceiling light features a large black aluminum shade with concentrical inner shades with a glass diffuser. The lacquered black shade is in good vintage condition with only slight signs of wear. The original lacquer is still in place and shows minor wear here and there. The light takes one e27/26 Edison bulb with 100W max. Led's are recommended due to leeser heat emission. Dimensions are 18.11" (diameter) x 13" height (shade only) the overall drop ranges from 43" (drop as pictured. We can extend or shorten the cable if requested by our customers.
Bruno Gatta founded the Stilnovo publishing house in 1946 in Lainate, an industrial suburb of Milan.
