Sommerso Glass Pendant Lamps for Seguso, circa 1960
Flavio Poli for Seguso, Italy, 1960–1969
Three Flavio Poli Sommerso pendant lamps for Seguso, circa 1960
Wonderful set of 3 colored thick Flavio Poli 'Sommerso' glass shades.
Sommerso (lit. "submerged" in Italian), or "sunken glasses", is a form of artistic Murano glass that typically has two layers of contrasting colors, which are formed by dipping a gather of colored glass into another molten glass and then blowing the gather into the desired shape.
Very good original condition with no chips or cracks and newly rewired with black textile cables, new modern canopies/roses.
Dimensions for the shade only are 11" x 4".
Overall height is between 39"-47" and can be adjusted. We can also provide a longer cable.
