Atrium Sectional Sofa Chair Ensemble in Brown Leather, Austria

Well preserved convertible sofa with 2 matching chairs by Karl Wittmann in original condition. The Atrium was produced in the same era and style as many modular designs such as the De Sede DS88 from Switzerland. Normally these are destined to have been rather worn out throughout the last 50 years, whereas this ensemble hasn't. The rich, brown, cognac-ish leather is still in wonderful condition with no major blemishes, a beautiful patina, minimal partial staining. The solid steel backrest is fully wrapped in leather and prevents the backrest cushions from displacing. The foam core also is in very sturdy condition with many years lying ahead. Both sofa and lounge chairs can easily be transformed into a double bed and two single ones. Sofa and chairs or however it will be placed as one large or 2 smaller sofas, can also be free-standing
