Saporiti
Sofa and chair ensemble by Alberto Rosselli for Saporiti, “Confidential”, with an extraordinary, fluffy white fake-wool upholstery, Italy, 1970.

Very good condition. Large sofa and 2 single chairs designed by Italian architect and furniture designer Alberto Rosselli in 1972 for Saporiti Italia.
The original upholstery is certainly the star of this rare ensemble, it's very cosy and warming. The white fake sheep-skin (wool fabric) almost floats over the black upholstered frame and base. It's as inviting to sit in as it is a graphical eye-candy in any room (group of Panda bears).
The original design approach of Rosselli regarding the interlocking functional connectors covered in the fluffy fabric (cushions) is still visible but at the same time the fabric is dissolving in the materiality of the ensemble which is a quirky twist in appearance.
The black elements are brought together by the puzzle-like cushions that connect them, providing an overall soft and comfortable lounge environment.
Overall in very good condition with no damages to the fabric, nor the bases. It’s just ready to use.
