Well preserved peter cooper for R.W. Winfield rocking chair, circa 1950.

Nice rocking chair based on the famous design from 1850s R. W. Winfield first exhibited this chair design at the Great Exhibition of 1851.

This later copy from circa 1950 is made from an aluminum base with vintage tufted leather in a dark shade of orange.

All the knobs are present and the leather is in good condition with no damages; the chair is stabile and working and rocking fine, perfectly suitable for years of use.

Dimensions are H 39.37" x W 39.37 x D 23.62", seat height is 15.74".
