Early vintage original flush mount light by Max Ingrand. Iconic 27″ fixture with deep sandblasted incisions leaving smaller archipelagos from clear glass, that have later been polished.
It’s a very delicate piece with outstanding glass work. The metal funnel has it’s preserved original lacquer from the 1950’s.
Five large e26/27 bulbs are illuminating a sandblasted large 27″ glass disc-diffuser first, so the bulbs are not visible from underneath the light.
It’s in very good condition considering an age of 65 years. The glass shows no chips or cracks.
The original lacquered aluminum parts we left untouched. The brass shows an even and golden patina.
