Gino Sarfatti
Two Gino Sarfatti flush mounts SP/16, Italy, 1962 for Arteluce (labelled)
Dimensions: Diameter 6.8″, total height 11.8″- the part showing is 4.33″
We are offering a very rare pair recessed luminaires produced by Arteluce in 1962.
These wonderfully preserved lamps are characterized by the typical very heavy blown glass shades, which in this case are sticking out of the ceiling.
They were used in many variations, pendant lights being one of them. However as recessed flush mounts these are extremely scarce and do cast a beautiful light for sure.
Despite the passing of time, their condition is remarkable.
The glass shows no chips or imperfections. the metal parts have the original lacquer.
They can use an Edison screw bulb e26/27 with 100W. Led’s are recommended due to lesser heat emission.
