George Nelson for Herman Miller Pedestal Dining Table Desk, 1960
George Nelson for Herman Miller, United States, 1960
Georg Nelson. Unusual original dining or desk table by George Nelson for Herman Miller, mid century.
Dimensions are 72.04" x 40.15" x 28.15" (height)
This dining table was designed by George Nelson and manufactured by Herman Miller in 1956 in the USA.
Production time was around that time, maybe a bit later. It's the scarcer version that is not extendable and therefore has got no divided table top, which makes it ideal as a desk as well.
The table is made from white coated aluminium bases with a white laminated wooden top (formica)
The condition is good to very good with wear to the formica around the edges but no major blemishes. The table top also shows no deep scratches.
The table is very well kept and in great original condition. It will be disassembled and crated for transportation (worldwide)
