Unusual chest of drawers by George Nelson for Herman Miller, mid century.

Rare combination of a Nelson base and chest with the typical small handles.

However this combination with the drawer configuration has not been confirmed as being from the official series of miniature chests by Nelson.

Probably it has been contrived during the years for practical reasons as the height is either working as a small table in a bedroom or cabinet for the hallway.

The condition is good to very good with wear to the lacquer, no major blemishes.
