Rare, documented glass lantern by Fontana Arte, circa 1940

Stunning large blue glass lantern with etched rhombus pattern and fine brass work.

This handmade piece is lovely to see in person, lit or unlit.

It mainly consists of a handblown lantern in a brass frame. The flat bottom glass part is again safeguarded with a flat thick glass disk.

All elements are in very good condition with no cracks o chips.

The brass comes in its original dark and even patina.

It has got 2 sockets for e26/27 bulbs, 110/220V, max wattage 60W per bulb, Led’s are possible and recommended due to heat exposure of the glass.

The height can be customized. We have rewired the main cable.

Measurements: 12.6″ x 14.96″ (height) 38.58″ total drop.
