Erling Torvits.

Writing desk secretary by Erling Torvits, solid rosewood and teak with many drawers, Denmark, circa 1960.

Rare vintage Erling Torvits rosewood secretary with many drawers and secret drawers (compartments).

This model is very rare. It is the largest and most comprehensive writing furniture designed by Torvits.

Three top drawers are concealed and can only be opened by pressing hidden levers. The desk area also features cabinets with sliding doors and three drawers with bowtie fronts.

A very practical piece of furniture and comparable in quality to Hans Wegner or Nanna Ditzel.

Very good condition. A handle is partially broken off, we left it as is and lowered the price accordingly (it can be restored) otherwise beautifully preserved and fantastically worked.

Dimensions are: 41" wide x 18.5" deep x 47.5" high
