Great comfort chair in wonderful vintage condition from Arne Norell.
It has been greatly inspired by the Safari chairs of the 1950’s and therefore is also easy to fully disassemble; it’s especially worth noticing that Norell did not use any screws for the construction.
The chair solely is held together by the wooden joints and the meticulous construction and crafting of those.
It’s made from soft Aniline leather in light brown or cognac color and looks absolutely fresh and in great condition. We have given it a treatment including cleaning and impregnation.
The construction leather spanning from side to side is sturdy bull leather in a different brown tone which was chosen intentionally.
Great comfort with an ottoman for extra relaxation. It shows some scratches and stains here and there other than that the chair and ottoman are perfectly fine for decades of use and very hard to find in this original condition. Dimensions are H 35.4″ x W36 x D.36″. Seat height is 15.75″. Ottoman: 21.7″ x 30″ x 15.75″
